Be open to new corporate ideas
For most of my career, organizational practices have come from theories and ideas which were sparked in the late 1940s, 50s and early 1960s. Much of our work in change has been influenced from brilliant minds like Kurt Lewin and Douglas McGregor but in the past decade things have well, changed. New ideas of how to build organizations where people can do their best work are evolving continuously. We now look at companies as living systems. We now see performance in the context of what is possible? What an exciting and challenging time in which we live and practice! Taking from what has been learned from critical research in positive psychology we can now start applying to organizations the same or similar practices as answers the questions, “Why does this group or individual thrive? And others do not? How do we build innovative working environments where people create their best work? This question drives the purpose of this blog! Welcome!
